PROJECT SUMMARY
We helped these clients transform a closed-off main floor into a beautifully modern, open living space. The renovation created a more functional kitchen, living, and dining area, upgraded all fixtures, and expanded the master bedroom closet for improved storage.
THE VISION FOR THIS RENOVATION
The goal was to highlight the home’s stunning cedar ceilings and existing skylights by opening up the main floor and allowing natural light to flow freely. The clients wanted a brighter, more livable layout that brought people together in one cohesive space.
THE FOUR ELEMENTS APPROACH
We removed walls separating the kitchen, dining, and living areas to create a large open living space. A full kitchen rebuild included new cabinets, countertops, and a central island.
The cedar ceiling was carefully patched and preserved to maintain its character. We added new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the main level, refinished the fireplace with shiplap and stone, redesigned the laundry room, and updated both the main and powder bathrooms. The master bedroom closet was also expanded for additional storage.
