PROJECT SUMMARY
This backyard structure was a unique project. Our clients wanted to transform their large backyard by adding a private retreat—a cozy backyard structure just steps from their home that offered comfort, warmth, and serenity.
THE VISION FOR THIS RENOVATION
The homeowners envisioned a beautiful backyard cabin where they could relax, recharge, and enjoy peaceful moments away from the bustle of daily life. The space needed to feel connected to nature while still offering year-round functionality and comfort.
THE FOUR ELEMENTS APPROACH
We designed and built a completely custom backyard structure from the ground up using brick and cedar, blending rustic charm with intentional craftsmanship.
Large windows and a transparent ceiling were incorporated to let in as much natural light as possible, creating a bright and airy atmosphere.
A wood-burning stove was added for warmth and ambiance, and a quaint front porch with stairs welcomed guests into the space.
