PROJECT SUMMARY
Basement flooding in a Fort Saskatchewan, Westpark home turns into an opportunity to redevelop the space into a feature-rich entertainment area with plenty of space to host family and friends.
THE VISION FOR THIS RENOVATION
Our clients had an unfortunate flood in their basement which led to the opportunity to redevelop the space into a unique entertainment area to host visiting family and friends.
THE FOUR ELEMENTS APPROACH
We agreed that the centerpiece of the basement development should be a custom bar with stone, wood & glass counter tops, and stylish LED lighting.
The gas fireplace has a stone surround and custom wood mantle to add warmth to the entertainment area, which is perfect for a pool table and dart board.
Heated floors were installed throughout. The two existing bedrooms were refreshed, including the addition of custom closet shelving in each. And lastly, a new bathroom was developed with custom shower glass and a beautiful marble/travertine floor and wall tile.
