PROJECT SUMMARY
This custom kitchen project was a part of an update to a late 1980s home to reflect the homeowners’ desire for a more open, traditional/craftsman-inspired living space.
We reconfigured rooms, upgraded the kitchen, and added cozy, character-filled touches throughout.
THE VISION FOR THIS RENOVATION
The kitchen would serve as the central hub, supported by a new dining room layout, a bar and seating area, and better access to storage and laundry facilities. The goal was comfort, function, and timeless design.
THE FOUR ELEMENTS APPROACH
We repurposed the old dining room to create a stylish bar and seating nook, while the family room became a larger, more accessible dining room adjacent to the new kitchen.
Custom blue cabinetry, new countertops, and a central island were paired with pendant lighting for a statement look.
