PROJECT SUMMARY
We added a second storey to an Edmonton, Highlands war-era bungalow and completely refreshed the look of the exterior.
THE VISION FOR THIS RENOVATION
Our clients loved the older and well-located established area they lived in, but did not have space for their growing family. They lived in a ’40s era bungalow and due to limited lot size, they wanted us to add the second storey addition and they would do all the interior renovations themselves.
THE FOUR ELEMENTS APPROACH
Four Elements built the second floor addition and completed the drywall/taping, electrical, plumbing, and heating mechanicals.
The new second storey provided an additional two bedrooms including the master bedroom, another bathroom, and a loft space and upstairs laundry.
The exterior was completely redone with a new front porch, new doors and windows, stone features and wood posts. Both the home and back-alley detached garage were finished with new siding.
