PROJECT SUMMARY
We helped our Sherwood Park, Glen Allan clients accommodate their growing family by adding a new addition and re-configuring the layout of the original home.
THE VISION FOR THIS RENOVATION
This 1960s bungalow no longer had the room to accommodate our clients’ growing family. Because they love their neighbourhood and their large backyard, which backs onto a green space, they chose to renovate their home and add a 900 sq.ft. addition with basement.
They wanted to create a large open space that their entire family could enjoy together.
THE FOUR ELEMENTS APPROACH
We reconfigured the existing kitchen and dining room into a larger back entry and formal dining room. The new addition allowed for a large custom chef’s kitchen with sizable pantry, plus an eating nook and a family room surrounded by large windows overlooking the backyard full of trees.
The result was effective, elegant and functional.
