INTERIOR RENOVATION: CLARKDALE MEADOWS

Living Spaces

PROJECT SUMMARY

Our Sherwood Park, Clarkdale clients wanted to open up their main living space to allow a larger custom kitchen with a more modern design. They wanted new and interesting features to give their ’90s-era home a unique look and feel.

THE VISION FOR THIS RENOVATION

They wanted to completely renovate their main living spaces (kitchen, living room, front and back entries, including the stairway to the upstairs and upper loft) into an open-concept design suitable for entertaining large groups of friends and family.

THE FOUR ELEMENTS APPROACH

This renovation involved gutting the main floor completely and removing all interior walls to create a more functional and large living space. The custom kitchen was open-concept and designed with unique stone pillars and beams. A new, back-entry mudroom was added featuring increased storage. We added a new railing to the upstairs stairwell and loft overlooking the living room. Flooring, windows, and doors were also updated.

The results speak for themselves.

KEY FEATURES IN THIS RENOVATION

  • Open-concept and new functionality in existing space

  • Refreshed stairwell with new railing and upper loft
  • Large custom kitchen with lots of cabinets and a large island
